New Delhi, 21st January’18: Delhi Traffic police & a leading Superbike community, RPM India (Roaring power machines) organized -The Turtle Ride to support “Safe Driving” in association with BarTalk& Dirt street on January 21st Sunday Morning.
The ride witnessed more than 50 superbikes and started from Ambience Mall Toll Plaza and finished at Rajouri garden where Mr. Dependera Pathak, Special Commissioner of Police-Traffic, Delhi also joined & encouraged the riders for this initiative.
Present at event Mr.DependraPathak, Special Commissioner of Police-Traffic, Delhi said, “On Road Safety is always our top focus. We’re really happy to support RPM India’s efforts to educate people about the importance of speed limit and safety while driving. He also Added, “This campaign name #theTurtleRide surely will make a mass movement by involving citizens and sensitizing the society towards the responsibility on traffic rules.”
Mr.Navjyot Singh, Core Rider – RPM India said, “Over speeding accounted for 66% of road accidents & 61% deaths. Also, at 1,591; Delhi topped the list of million-plus cities that reported the highest number of road accident deaths in 2016. Since superbikes are known for their massive power and speed, if a bunch of superbikes, despite having so much of power in their machines can ride slow, then why not others.” “We are obligated to be part of this event along with Delhi Traffic police and really thankful for their support,” said Mr. Singh.
