Global Pioneer of Ayurveda Shahnaz Husain had an eventful trip to London recently. While she has travelled extensively, London with its old mystique charm has always been Shahnaz Husain’s favourite holiday destination for business, rejuvenation and sightseeing. Simply put, it is a home away from home for her.
Sharing more on the same, ‘Harvard Subject’ Shahnaz says, “India’s London is a sightseer’s delight. I love everything about it, especially the long walks in beautiful Hyde Park. It is an epitome of peace and tranquillity.
The Speaker’s corner provides a deep insight on diverse topics in its unique amusing style. Serpentine Lake has these beautiful swans. A sight to behold and an unforgettable experience! London also has wonderful shopping destinations.
I love Oxford Street and Carnaby Street, with their world class stores. I go there to shop and window shop. Another favourite place in London is Trafalgar Square, located in the heart of London. What I really enjoy is “Café on the
Square” right in the middle of Trafalgar Square, where we sit over coffee and watch the world go by. Picadilly and Trafalgar Square are our favourite haunts at night. The twinkling lights are so inviting. What I also enjoy is going to
Starbucks for coffee. An excellent de-stress formula is just Decafe Starbuck Frappacino Lite Coffee accompanied with a hot Blueberry Muffin – the combination is just out of this world.”
During her trip, Shahnaz graced many prestigious events. noteworthy among them being the London Fashion Week where she was seen with Amarjit Singh (Vice President, European Operations, Shahnaz Herbal), Neelam Pratap Rudy,
Anil Khosla (CEO of INIFD) and Shalini Kochhar.
Shahnaz, the global beauty and wellness ambassador also registered her presence at the Indian Journalist Association Reception & Dinner for India’s Independence Day at St. James Court Hotel, London. Also present on the
occasion were Rt. Hon. Boris Johnson, MP, Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom. For the India Day Celebrations, Shahnaz was seen at the High
Commissioner’s residence India House, London with the Dy.High Commissioner H.E. Dinesh K Patnaik. Then she also made her gracious presence at the 30th Anniversary celebrations of Jubilee Market, Covent Garden, London.
At the Mrs India U.K. 2017 Beauty Pageant held at London Marriott, Regents Park, Shahnaz Husain crowned the Winner of Mrs. India U.K. 2017 Beauty Pageant Prad Punekar. Here she enlightened everyone by sharing how she followed her dreams and made her own destiny by selling Ayurveda, India’s ancient civilization in a jar, to the western world.
During her London visit, Shahnaz Husain also introduced her new innovation in London..a Dry Shampoo, based on Ayurveda and specially formulated for men and women on the go! The USP of the dry shampoo being the fact that it
revitalizes the hair in minutes. Containing plant ingredients, it cleanses the hair, without water, quickly absorbing oil and impurities. In spray form, it is easy to use and leaves the hair looking clean, fresh and healthy. The product is available
at the Shahnaz Herbal counter at Lloyds Pharmacy at Selfridges, the famous London store.
All in all, it was an extremely rewarding trip to London for Shahnaz Husain who has been India’s pride having not only ruled the beauty business, but also the hearts for the past three decades. She is truly phenomenal for having been a
huge source of inspiration for countless of budding entrepreneurs, and for devising treatments and formulated products, based on India’s great ancient heritage of herbal healing.
