Sony SAB’s much-awaited show on television Saat Phero Ki Hera Pherie is a marital comedy like never seen before!

Based on the premise of a famous axiom ‘Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus’, the show will showcase the various hilarious situations that arise in the daily lives of married couples due to gender roles and differences.

Set in suburban Mumbai, the plot revolves around the lives of two neighbours – the Tandons and the Desais. Bhupi Tandon played by Shekhar Suman, is a man in his fifties and believes that the ‘Man’ is the boss of the house and loves to dominate his wife. His wife Neetu is a ritualistic traditional woman, a loving mother and a caring wife. The role of Neetu is being played by the gifted Swati Shah.

Their younger neighbours and friends are another married couple Parimal and Rupal Desai. Parimal played by Amit Mistry is a complete opposite of Bhupi and is a wife-fearing man! Parimal is a manager in broking firm and is always entangled with transactions of the stock exchange. Enacted by Ami Trivedi, Rupal comes from rich upbringing and is constantly buying material comforts to upgrade her lifestyle much to the hopelessness of her husband due to which he is always submerged under the EMI burden.

Adding to camaraderie is 25-year-old Goldie Sharma, who is a hopeless romantic. Goldie acted by Kevin Dave is single and always ready to mingle. He finds his dream girl in every girl he sees. He is however constantly dumped by the girls for his lack of focus and seriousness.

Ami Trivedi who plays Rupal was very excited to visit the capital said, “I have been to Delhi for work in the past and now I am coming back after a long time. Delhi has always been visited only for a day which is usually for promotions but I always love coming back to Delhi and gorging on the food here. I love the feel of the capital and the way people interact as they always make you feel welcome”.

Swati Shah who plays Neetu Tandon says,” This is going to be my first visit to this historic political capital Delhi. It is my country’s capital, my capital and I am really looking forward to this visit and to interact with my fans”.
